How Chemicals Used in the Manufacturing Processes of Solvents

  • Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (EGME): Both the agglomerate agent and the liquid are found in paints and coats. These two parts can be found in the combinations.
  • Ethyl Acetate: This material is often used to make glue coats and medicines among other things.

Lactate Esters:

  • Ethyl Lactate: Solvents made from it are used in many different things like paints coats cleaning solutions and more because it is flexible.

Glycol Ethers

Propylene Glycol Ethers:

  • Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether (PGME): It is also used as a liquid to make films paints and cleaning products.
  • Propylene Glycol Butyl Ether (PGBE): It is common for the solvent and the binding agent to be used together in the making of inks paints and cleaners.

Ethylene Glycol Ethers:

  • Ethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether (EGEE): Solvent in cleaning products and coatings.
  • Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (EGBE): Used in printing inks paints and coatings.

Other Additives and Stabilizers

  1. Antioxidants: When chemicals are being handled or kept it is very important to make sure they don’t break down in any way.
  2. Stabilizers: It is important to make sure that liquids keep their chemical stability during the production and use processes.
  3. Dyes and Fragrances: For the purpose of making identification easier and enhancing the overall user experience this was included.
